Followed that up with a concert at Avery Fisher Hall , heard Mozart’s Double Piano Concerto. Quite a large place (the restaurant, that is). It had a front fleishig cafeteria-style section, but if you wanted a nicer atmosphere, there was a back section where there was regular restaurant waiter service. It was quite popular because the location was terrific and the food was decent without being too expensive. I have lived in Israel for decades, so I don’t know when it closed. Oh, we ate in the back, thank you.

Good food, pleasant atsmophere, and reasonable prices. I miss simple restaurants like that. A simple place to feel at home, and grab a lunch or a relaxing dinner.
