I’m looking for ideas for my son going into 10th grade. He is very yeshivish and pretty strong academically but he is having issues fitting into a regular Yeshiva setting. I think if he could shine and be the top bochur in the yeshiva it would be very good for him as long as the situation there is not too much below his level. In other words other yeshivish boys but not necessarily top learners. I think also if he had a rosh yeshiva he could really respect and get super close to it would be very good for him.

    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

    What makes him “very Yeshivish”?

So you’re looking for a yeshiva that is not really appropriate for your son just so he could be the top guy in yeshiva?

I’m no chinuch expert, but that doesn’t sound like a good idea to me.

In other words, you are looking for a good yeshivish place for bachurim who aren’t aleph bochurim but aren’t failures.
He might do well in smaller yeshivas.

Yeshiva of North Jersey-Rabbi Eider’s yeshiva is an amazing place. My nephew goes there. If you want more info about it just ask me
