Per a response received from the Chabad.org website

The date of Shloshim is 1-TEVES (Today – Sunday)

PLEASE UPDATE THE MISHNAYOS LIST WITH YOUR STATUS WHEN COMPLETE

    http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=prWxJ2GQH9NZXCh0f6NaWIQ&hl=en

Let’s keep the achdus going. I propose that we the YWN community start saying Mishnayos and plan on completing it all for sholshim.

    I will be learning Berachos.

can women be part of being msayim mishnayos?

I see Mrs. YW-Moderator-72 is taking a mesechta!

Mrs. YW-Moderator is NOT learning Mishnayos. YW-Moderator-72 is learning the Mishnayos. The Women share in the Mishnayos by encouraging their husbands and sons to learn. – YW MODERATOR-72

I will learn Masseches Gittin. One of my first exposures to Chabad was through a Sicha from the former Rebbe, on the maamar Chazal “Kol hayotzei le’milchemes Bais Dovid, koseiv get crisus le’ishto”. He explained that if a person wants to wage the war of Bais Dovid to bring Ruchniyus into the world, he will need to divorce himself from his physical wants, metaphorically described as Ishto.

All of the kedoshim were involved in this pursuit, especially Rabbi and Rebbizen Holzberg, HY”D. May their memory inspire us to emulate their devotion to the Milchemes Bais Dovid.

Please post the kedoshim’s hebrew names for learning/davening l’iluy nishmasam (ie Gavriel Noach ben ? (father’s name) ) Thank you! The response is truly heartwarming, it should be a zechus for their neshamos, and for a geula sheleimah b’meheirah!

A suggestion: when a duplicate request comes in, perhaps post underneath the later request something like “Mesechta already taken – please choose another” in bold lettering.

Tizku lemitzvos to YWN, MDLevine and all participants.

Thank you for your suggestion. We are currently in middle of doing that. Please standby.
