when i think back throughout the year there were many many times i said things i should not have if anyone was hurt by something i said please be mochel me and i will try and do better in the future

I would like say to everyone here- Please forgive me for anything that I may have said that caused any of you to be embarrassed, upset, hurt, annoyed, or anything less than happy, directly or indirectly. I sincerely apologize for it. And I absolutely forgive anyone here for anything they may have said that caused me any of the above feelings.

Hope I never hurt anyone here but I am sure that I did and I beg you all to be mochel. We dont know each other here so its a little easier to be mochel a total stranger for saying something hurtful. May we all be blessed with a year full of happiness and bracha and see the hand of Hashem in the good times so we dont have to be tested.

However, I wish I could, but I cannot, especially when there are several posters who did unbelievable avlos here and never asked for mechila.
I would use my regular sn, however, my password was revoked awhile back and was reinstated almost immediately with a new one and have no idea what that may be, as I could not bring myself to write here for a looong time…
I tried to contribute here as best as I could, but I got kicked over and over.
It’s almost Rosh Hashana, and still there’s no apology from them (I’m not planning on naming names)or the insight for what the repercussions were…

I would like to ask forgiveness for the many times I have even read loshon hora, something that unfortunately frequently gets posted, even if I did not believe it. After all, there is a sin to simply listen to it.
Of course the victim of this crime is the person(s) being spoken about. And more often than not that person is not even a participant of the forum. So asking forgiveness, even publicly, is unlikely to reach the only person(s) who can issue that mechila.
Which, of course, is the point in refraining from engaging in (listening or spreading) loshon hora in the first place, considering the extreme difficulty in obtaining absolution.
I hereby humbly ask mechila from anyone and everyone that I heard or read loshon hora, rechilus or motzei shem ra about, on this forum or anywhere else, whether I was or wasn’t mekabel said loshon hora, rechilus or motzei shem ra.
To anyone here who’s feelings i may have hurt in any way please be mochel me and i of course am mochel all of you.

There is an excellent article by Rav Arye Zeev Ginzburg in last week’s Mishpacha magazine on the subject of mechila. He has also set up a new initiative to help childless couples and older singles. It’s a must read!
