As a fairly new poster, I would like to say that this thread is pretty hilarious! My perspective on the CR has changed.

At first, I thought that all the moderators were generally serious. Then I started to see a few glimpses of humor here and there. But this is outright wacky!

Yeah, when there aren’t enough posts to go around, it gets kinda ugly at the headquarters.
what is this business? there are never enough mods to go around during the day when you’re needed and now you suddenly appear out of nowhere? this is for sure fixed!
Kapusta, are you on during the day? Posts hit the board within seconds. There are never enough posters when you need them…
should I ask why you have to ask that question? I’m on sometimes during day. But I guess I just get lucky when I check and the last update was two hours before…

Once in a while, we need to put up a new pot of coffee at HQ so it takes a few seconds to get your posts approved. :}

In all seriousness (yeah I know wrong thread) I sometimes wonder why there is a system of either ‘all or none’. As long as theres one mod when I’m here, you’re fine 😉

42 – I just saw 99. He is fast asleep on the couch. He has empty boxes of sufganiyot all over the floor. There is a sign next to him that says “wake me up for Chanuka 2010”!

Hey Jax, thanks for the welcome. I tend to post only when I have something intelligent to say (at least in my mind!), but this thread was so funny I had to chime in!
I must admit that at first I didn’t even look at the coffee room. Then someone told me there was a topic I was interested in being debated. Then I really started to check in at all hours of the day and night, reading a lot of different threads. Now my husband says I’m addicted! (Since he’s loves the photo gallery and started sending in lots of pictures of his own, I say that we’re even.) But I still tend to be a little shy, so…thanks 🙂
