Heavenly help or help from the Heavens. It says יצרו של אדם מתגבר עליו בכל יום the yetzer hara of the person strengthens itself every day ואלמלא הקב”ה עוזר לו לא יוכל לו if Hashem would not help the person, he could not fight him.

Help from Above is also required to understand and find the truth in our learning. The Chasam Sofer explains that the Torah has hidden treasures and through Hashem’s help they get revealed. The Hafloh says that a question comes from Heavenly help. I explained that the Jews encountered bitter water and through a bitter tree it became sweet. Comparing this to the learning of Torah, sometimes we don’t understand at all our learning making it completely bitter. We are helped to find the truth through a question, but a question itself without an answer is also bitter. When an answer is found, it becomes sweet.

    Actually it’s סייעתא דשמיא.

Help / assistance from (the one whose abode is in) the heavens. It’s something we all need to get anywhere, anywhere in life. As the song ידעתי…

It says שוב יום אחד לפני מותך repent a day before your death. As the person does not know when this day comes, he will repent every day. Every day he will climb to higher level so the yetzer hara becomes stronger, because כל הגדול מחבירו יצרו גדול ממנו, whoever is greater than his friend, his yetzer hara becomes also greater.

How does one shteig (climb higher)? There is constantly a confilct between the body and soul. The Ben Ish Chay says the Shabbos is a day of peace because eating for shabbos sake unites them. To make peace and resolve them explains the Chasam Sofer we do something small for the benefit of the soul until the body gets used to it and continue this to improve ourself day by day. This is what is meant in סור מרע ועשה טוב בקש שלום ורדפהו turn away from bad and do good by creating peace (between body and soul) through fighting the peace.

Could be a ת”ח should have שמינית שבשמינית 1/64 of humility which is the ר”ת of סייעתא דשמיא recognizing that he needs Heavenly help to find the truth in learning. I also heard that Mount Sinai the smallest mountain is 1/64th of the largest mountain Har Karmel.

    Explain by example:
Have you ever felt there’s nowhere to turn?
    Things seem confused?
    No one’s concerned?
The times we live in are oh so dark.
A little faith, though, lights a spark.
    Clears our vision, eases pain.
    Hope arises again!
