I went into a dairy restaurant to grab a snack and the guy behind the counter says jokingly, “Sorry, we’re closed. Okay, now we’re open.”
Were they really open or just trying to trick you?
I once saw an “out of order” sign on a machine after it had been fixed.

I promise I meant it seriously. I used the emoticon FOR that reason . I didn’t know that a smiley means sarcasm , I thought it just meant that I am smiling. sorry
