looking at the freshness column in the coffed room, it would appear that some posts were on shabbos.
I am sure this cannot be so, so what is the explanation?

Since I’ve posted before that I am mechallel Shabbos (albeit somewhat unwillingly), people might be tempted to think it’s me.
It’s not. My chillul Shabbos has nothing to do with posting on Shabbos.

There is almost always a place on earth where it is not Shabbos at any particular moment.

Actually, at just west of whatever place it is that you recognize the international date line to be, when it bain hashmashos there on Shabbos afternoon, it is Bain Hashmashos on Friday just east of there, and during Shabbos gufa everywhere else.
The system rounds off the time to the hour. That might give interesting results.

Should remarks posted on Shabbos be allowed through by moderation? I think not.

I posted a few things when it was chag in chutz la’aretz and chol hamo’ed in E”Y. (I considered mentioning this fact in the posts themselves, then reflected that I had already indicated in other recent posts that my husband and I are currently in E”Y, so didn’t think it was necessary). Why then should the posts not be approved?

The bump wasn’t random. Someone who has apparently lost his way seems to have sent a post this past Shabbos, lo aleinu.

look, there is little that we can do about such behavior. we obviously don’t condone it, but the witch hunts will not do anyone any good.
