    I don’t know whether it’s true or not, but in order to collect the entire collection you would have to spend about $100. The doll isn’t worth more than maximum $20.

    Don’t buy it. It’s expensive and foolish and one of the mini trading cards has a picture of a doll and a cigarette on a rainbow background (which can be interpreted as a disgusting pun based on a common slur).

    yeah i know what your talking about my nieces collect them. I’m not sure if you can get a prize but i know they bring them to school and they traded it with their friends(supposedly there are some cards that are really good and very hard to get).

    I think the main reason everyone gets it is not for the doll rather just to trade it with their friends and have fun

    No offense, RebYidd, but your prior post opened with the sentence “Don’t buy it.” To me that sounds like you’re telling me not to buy something.

    apushatayid, I don’t know where you live, so I don’t know which stores sell them. If your daughter has a classmate or neighbor who has them, then ask them where they got them.

    The Goq: Yes, the princess doll on the collectable papers is wearing a long-sleeved, high neck, long gown. The doll itself is designed to look like a little girl, not like a grown-up woman.

    Anyway, I was able to find out the e-mail address for Precious Princess. They pleasantly surprised me by responding to my query and said that they are trying to work out a contest for the doll, but they don’t have the details yet.

    apushatayid, Okay, that narrows it down. I suppose that by ‘New York City’ you mean Manhattan. Are you near Williamsburg? Is it a big deal to get to Boro Park? There must be little Jewish-owned toy and novelty stores or stationery/school supply stores in your area that carry the cards. Best bet, as I said above, is to ask someone who has them already.

    P.S. In case anybody cares, my girls finally got ‘Cigarette.’ It’s actually cute – the princess isn’t smoking it or even holding it. I guess I just like bizarre things sometimes.
