So I’m holding the lit shamash candle in my hand, I recite the blessings, and as I’m trying to transfer the flame, it goes out. Do I relight the shamash candle and repeat the blessings (since there was an interruption b/w the blessings and the performance of the actual mitzvah), or do I relight without the blessings?
[This happened to me on Friday afternoon, and if I remember correctly, I said “Baruch shem kevod…” and then repeated the blessings.]
