I heard that Camp Emes is Eretz Yisrael will be taking teen aged Mesivta boys on a trip to Poland before camp. Rabbi Krohn is said to be leading their trip. Is this true? I have heard that the trip will be free. If this is true i feel my son should go it sounds like a great oppurtunity. I have been trying to get a hold of Rabbi Merentein or anyone who would know more infomation about his program? Btw if anyone has sent anyone to this camp and can help me with more info to let me know about it please let me know!!!

I know a boy who went to Emes last year I don’t think he is going back (he loved it but for certain reasons he can’t go back) but I’ll try to ask him if he heard about it but I can’t guarantee anything. I’ll try!

Thank you very much onegoal! I am curious you are implying that the kid loved it and for some reasons cant go back which means that he wants to go back but is unable? I am asking because i want to know about this program why would he be unable to go back did he get thrown out? Is money the issue and most importantly did he grow in Ruchnyos there? I appreciate your help as we really are interested. By the way can your friend tell me about the staff? and i would like to know how the supervision is.

    Thanks

Sorry I was out for a while and didn’t see your post. No he didn’t get thrown out but for some reason that I’m not sure of he can’t go back. (I think it’s because he lives in America and the camp is expensive without plane fare and he got a discount from his school last year which he wouldn’t get this year) He was one of 5 or 6 boys from Chicago who were all kind of different. From what he told me he loved the staff and the other boys there (which there weren’t that many of he told me it was small). I’ll TRY to talk to him and post back so keep an eye open.

I was just thinking about this thread and decided to bring it up. I was in Israel this summer and saw this camp in progress. I know it is a bit early, but if anyone has any questions about it I can try to answer them. By the way I think they are going to try to do this Poland trip again.

@onegoal for different reasons we never ended up sending. What info can u let me know about this camp. My son is a normal regular Yeshiva kid learning in Chafetz Chaim. He is looking for a Torah dika summer in Eretz Yisrael. What would be the difference between Camp Emes and lets say Sdei Chemed ?

    thanks
