Can anyone explain why people get confused between na nach’s and other breslover chaseedim? Why is it that breslov is considered taboo just because of some sect that call themselves na nachs ? Please only post anything, if you truly know the history of rebbe nachman and his talmid reb nosson, because I don’t want any loshon hora on any people especialy because of ignorance to the breslover chaseedus.
And why is it that his holy books are not as famously accepted like other holy chasidic rabbi’s of his generation? (Once again, please no slander)
There was oposition to the breslav derech by many tzadikim (mainly Chernobel)a hundred plus years before the Na Nachs showed up.
Part of the reason is that people often mistake the majority in decibels for the majority in numbers. They think that all Breslovers are nanachs. The other part of it is that there was a lot of opposition to Rabbi Nachman’s work due to the content.

This has been going on for quite a while now. Please limit your posts to the discussion at hand and not to what you think about moderators.
Breslov is not “taboo”.
I would say it is probably the chassidus that percentage-wise is probably the fastest growing.
The wisdom of Rav Nachman is gaining more and more acknowledgement all the time. It AMAZES me how ahead of his time he was (200 years ago).
Rav Nachman’s chachmah is davka targeted for us today, and more people every day are realizing it.

well said, there is a lot to learn from the teaching of rebbe nachman, Rabbi Lazer Brody is a great example of this…
As for the Nach Nachs, say what you want, but they do seem a happy bunch 🙂
