My Shul started 7:45 both days.
Day 1- 30 minute break we finished 2:20
Day 2-15 minute break (we cut down) and finished 2:25
Rabbi spoke both days.
Started 7:45
Day 1: 3:00 (45 min break.)
Day 2: 3:30 (1 hour break.)
started 9:00 ended 1:00 no break or speech
Started 8:00 both days (different shuls)
Day 1: Ended 4:15 (1/2 hour break) Rabbi spoke
Day 2: Ended 3:45 (1/2 hour break) Rabbi spoke
Eleven in the morning,,,GREAT batikin mynian
On the first day, we finished when the kaddish after A’anim Z’miros was completed.
On the second day, we finished right after the kaddish after L’Dovid HaShem Ori was completed.

Day 1: 2:30 (30 min unofficial break.)
Day 2: 3:30 (15 minute official break turning out to be 45 min.)
My hubby started at 9:00 finished at 3:00 both days.
Once in Lakewood my husband started at 6:00 and he finished between 3:00 and 4:00 but with a long break.

We started 7:15 both days. About a 20 minute break both days. First day there was a bris before the break, 2nd day a speech after the break. We finished about 1:45 first day, 2:30 2nd day IIRC

day 1-started 8am finished about 2, had around a 20min break!

I don’t think there’d be another date.
Started at 5:15 ended both days around 11:30 or 11:45. No break. No speech.
We started at 5:50 and we ended at 9:15. No speech and nonsense just davening.
I think nachas takes the trophy! Next time tell us where you pray so we all could go!!

I’ve got a family member who davened in belz in eretz yisroel.
They started davening about 8ish I imagine. They went straight into mussaf, then straight into mincha and straight into maariv. Yup- no seudah!!! They did have a break though. Their rebbe went out in the middle cuz he wasn’t feeling well but they all sat and waited in their places. What they thought will take a few min took quite a while and they ended up davening around the clock!

When did this become a contest? We finished both days around 1:30, even with the Shofar on Sunday.
I may be wrong, but this question & everyone’s obsession with what time Davening on R”H went till drives me crazy. R”H is two days a year. If it takes a long time – that’s fine with me. I Daven in a Minyan with a great Baal T’fila & the Davening flies by, because it’s so enjoyable. I hope I’m not offending anyone – it’s the Aseres Y’mai T’shuva – but I think that R”H Davening is supposed to be enjoyed, no matter how long it takes. G’mar Chasima Tovah!!
Day 1- 12:30 yes speech, no break (whatever that means)
Day 2- 12:45- with speech
Day 1: Start 8:15am. Finish 1pm. 10 minute sermon.
Day 2: Start 8:15am. Finish 1:30pm. 25 minute sermon.
We went from 8:00 to about 12:45 or so, with a short talk by the rabbi. This was at Ohel Efraim in Ariel Israel.
Day 1: Start 7am. Finish 1:45pm. 30 min break. no speech
Day 2: Start 7am. Finish 2:25pm. 30 min break. no speech

cholent, who ever mentioned not enjoying the tefillos? We’re just saying how long it took, thats all.

Tough row to hoe: My “minhag” (reading of the halacha)is the chazoras hashatz has to be heard mila bmila. I also am mkubal to do kiddush b4 hatzos, and I lain for a very lebedik sleepyhead minyan starting 10:30-11:00. First day sneaked into a very exclusive netz minyan at go’al Yisrael, left b4 hazora as I know them to sing too much over the shatz. Longish break, lained and did musaf with the sleepyheads who are mu’ad to mess up the chazoras hashatz. Kiddush on time bit b4 hatzos. Second day, in search of tekiot lachash. Found “Sefardi Avreichim” netz. Beautiful, every word, even when they shout out stuff, he waits and then says. Piyyutim all before, after, or in kadish tiskabel. Oops, he didn’t say Modim out loud. Stayed for kriya (Morracan) and musaf with tekiot, left before kedusha (slow davener)and based on previous performance, leined by the sleepyheads, home to do some tekiot my way, and kidush about hatzos. This is in Jerusalem. Next year maybe I will try the Yekkes.
All I knows is that the Shofar this year was perfect! Not one mess up! (And the Rosh HaYeshiva were I daven is very makpid about how the tekios are blown) B”H!
