I just heard about a segulah for all inyanim by learning a sefer called Zera Shimshon, the author Reb Shimshon Chaim Nachmani who passed away without children promises in the introduction that anyone who learns from this all good etc.., (he lists alot specific things) and many have seen yeshous just by learning from this sefer including having children after many years, shidduchim, refuos, parnassah, please let me know if anybody has heard about this and have seen results, or if what happens if you try it.
Segulos don’t work. People do.
The best segulahs for parnassah is to write resumes, cover letters and fill out job applications. You will get alot more job offers that way than learning a sefer
It’s not a segula, he writes that since he doesn’t have children as his only son past away, whoever learns his Sefer will be a zchus for his neshama, and in return he should have children.
Agreed. And the sefer is a very difficult one to learn. It is more of a “gift of hakaros hatov” than a segula
Selling the sefer is a segula for parnassa.
I’ve also heard of that segula / inyan.
so we agree on somethings..
the thing to lose is if people take this very seriously and then have real yeiush or a detraction in emunah if they don’t get what they want.
OK if you dont want to believe fine, but many people have seen yeshous just by learning from this sefer everyday, besides for the fact that he promises a couple things for anyone who learns it, anyway what does it hurt, give it a shot, you have nothing to lose!

you know the first time you said it you had a point. this time you are just trying to put it down. it’s not a segula, nobody is marketing it as one, and nobody said not to write a resume so what do you care if someone picks up a sefer and breaks their teeth over it in order to give a man a zchus and bring himself closer to Hashem. Which, by the way, will always be rewarded.
Nachman Seltzer is his book I have an amazing story for you has a few stories regarding this sefer – of people who have seen yeshuos after learning or distributing this sefer.

Yeshuos work on some people and not all people.
Because it’s not the sefer/tehilim/or the 40 trips to the kosel
It’s how it changed you. It’s how you think differently afterwards. It’s how you are growing.
That’s all Hashem wants. A “yeshuav” is only a push to get you to change/grow. If you do the yeshuah blindly and forget/don’t let it change you/don’t actually act on what you have learned than it doesn’t work.
People work. Not yeshuos.
This is why it only works on some people. It works on the people who actually change and grow. So it depends on you if this yeshuah will work too.

And I know a lot of people who wrote resumes and filled out applications and still can’t find a job! Just like segulot – hishtadlus also isn’t a 100% guarantee of success. The way I see it if you do both then at least you covered all your bases and did the best you could… additionally davening is always the best option of them all.

No amount of davening is going to get me a job as a Doctor or astrophysicist

Did you read the rest of assurnet’s post? Why are you disagreeing with him by stating exactly what he stated?

If someone is interested in finding out more they can look at the book and do their research from there. I am sure you can find people who are in the book and did have a yeshua.

well that’s dumb because nobody advocated for that, and buying the safer wouldnt help you anyway, you have to learn it. and it would probably require a different type of attitude.
I heard of the segulah – I learned a few shticklech in the sefer. It is not easy, but it is very geshmack. The particular inyan I needed a yeshua for worked out, B”H. I don’t know if the learning was the cause, but it certainly didn’t hurt. Even people who don’t like most Chassidishe seforim (like me) will, IMHO, enjoy the sefer. It is available, BTW, on hebrewbooks.org.
