March 17, 2010 4:39 am at 4:39 am #681846smilingMemberjphone you are probably the only one or one of the only ones who thinks it’s silly. it’s really amazing and so original and full of talent.
March 17, 2010 4:49 am at 4:49 am #681847smilingsfriendMemberYes I agree with smiling!! The happy Birthday song is what you consider a composed song!!! Very nice all these composers think they are composing songs!! Maybe they are making up the tune but if ur using words from Tehillim u aint composing anything!!! Ur just using words that Dovid Hamelech wrote!! Dont take credit where its not due!
March 17, 2010 4:55 am at 4:55 am #681848smilingMembersmilingfriend very well said!!
March 17, 2010 11:48 am at 11:48 am #681851jphoneMemberOriginal? Perhaps the tune. Nothing in the words is original, except perhaps his interpretation of the passuk the song is based on.
March 18, 2010 3:22 am at 3:22 am #681852smilingMemberno the words are not original but sung with that tune it is very nice. but ur entitled to ur opinion if u dont like it thats fine
March 19, 2010 5:51 pm at 5:51 pm #681853smartcookieMemberIMO, his first album was much better. This one too is quite beautiful, yet he’s making himself a little “sticky” which takes away the whole taam.
I think he’s trying to sing “lipa” style on this cd.
His first cd was definitely with much more yiddish taam and is from the the nicest albums I ever heard.
