time and again israel is incessently under attack. wether it be by rockets,bombings or any other form of terrorism . no other country in the history of the world has been subject to such attacks. israel has every right to retaliate as does any other country if this would happen to them.if mexico started shooting rockets into america we would fire back like its no ones buisness!! and the world would say the u.s. has a right to self defense. yet when israel retalites the world condemns them and calls them terrorists! quite frankly i think we have all had enough! we need solutions!! the only thing we can really do is daven! but i want to know if you were prime minister of israel what would you do to stop this?! and i mean besides what we are all praobably thinking, blow the whole flippin place up!! we need realistic solutions!!!

When you say “we need realistic solutions” you are implying that
“blowing the whole flippin place up!!” is an UNrealistic solution.
It is NOT.
THAT is precisely how wars are won. That, for example is how WW2 was won.
Yes, the world, i.e. the U.S., the E.U., the UN, WOULD go crazy with condemnations for a few weeks.
And then, ya know what? It would fall from people’s short memories, the news media would find other stories to follow, and life would go on.
BUT – our enemies would be history.
Another idea is to capture Meshal, Haniyeh and the whole gang, try them and sentence them to death by hanging. Put them up on the gallows with a noose around their heads. Then inform them that they will die in the next 15 minutes unless they produce Gilad Shalit.
israel needs to flex it’s muscles, free shalit and do what needs to be done once and for all….the world comes down on Israel regardless of what they do… so to that I say who cares….

You got it right when you said “iran would have much more reason to nuke Israel! if they really need more incentive!”
That is exactly the point.
They do NOT need any additional incentive.
If they could, they WOULD.
If/when they can, they WILL.
That goes for Iran and ALL Israel’s enemies.
We don’t have to worry about making them hate us, they already hate us!
It reminds me of the old dark humor anecdote about WW2.
Two german soldiers (yemach shemam) have rounded up 2 Jews and are bringing them to be transported to a camp.
One Jew whispers to the other “Hey, I know they have guns and we don’t, but there are 2 of them and 2 of us, maybe we should try to jump them!”

PY taking your idea, what if they did the reverse and put Shalit on a gallow and said he will die in the next 15 minutes unless 100 arch-terrorists are released?
