As a personal request…
If you are going to give a source to back up your position, give one that is easy to research. A Tosfos “in the second perek of kiddushin” is not a proper source. “Tosfos, Kiddushin 42b D”H blah-blah-blah” is a proper source.
The point of a source is so that someone can quickly what you are quoting — not to cause someone to spend hours causing your disputant to look for a source to back up your argument.

Of course no one need feel compelled to give a source for everything they say.
This is a coffee room, not an entrance interview to a top Yeshivah
