i enjoy slow, spiritually uplifting songs, any ideas?
Everyone finds different types of songs spiritually uplifting. If you can give an example or two of the songs you like, maybe we can help give you similar ones.

I beg to differ, yes Abie and Shmuel Brazil have good spiritually uplifting songs however I think Shwekey’s Mama Rachel, Cry No More, Shema Yisrael, and MBD’s Ki Im Atah Mamin … are also good IMO.
Most (all?) of those Shwekey songs listed were written by R’ Abie.

Sorry, from what I remember, just Mama Rochel is an Abie song. (It is more an Abie song then a Shwekey song. Shwekey sang it on Journeys 4.) If I recall correctly, Shma Yisroel was composed by Abie’s daughter.

Try listening to Yosef Karduner. I think he has an acappella album, or at least a few acappella songs.
L’maancha (otherwise known as HaNeshama Lach) by Eitan Katz is probably the most beautiful song I ever heard.

oh and window in heaven, by shea rubinstein, is really good. kinda on the sad side tho, but in the end it all comes together.
