SJSinNYC: actually, the edit button stays for 5 minutes, so when the updates are fast(unlike now), you’re able to edit your post.$

How about a School Closing section where yeshivas who don’t have internet sites can post info in weather emergencies. Maybe in alphabetical order so people can find their school.

ha honestly – we didn’t have female teachers then AND i never went to english in eighth grade – such a masmid i was – i used to have a chavrusa in the afternoon

THANK YOU for the suggestion to click on the time the last post was posted. It brings me right to the last post. SO MUCH EASIER.

Everyone else who knew that trick was asking for a way to get to the first unread post. You were happy because you discovered the way to get to the last post quickly, which everyone else now takes for granted. It seems that we always strive for something just a little bit more than we have. The person with just a little bit less would be happy with what we have.
How about a set of page number buttons at bottom of CR home page to find older threads.
All the numbers on top so you can go directly to a desired page rather than needing to go ahead 3 at a time.
aussie I second that, and maybe a mod on at night (between like 9 and 1) would be nice (and a mod who knows how to fix my firefox would be even nicer) 🙂

Sometimes a new thread gets posted, and it automatically goes to the time when it was first put up and then it gets lost. Can we get a separate section for new threads, or can they be highlighted or something?
i think the best improvement would be to list whoever is in the coffee room (members and mods) that way no one will post and then have to wait a day for a reply.
and-forgot to add when our posts or topics don’t get approved there should be a way for us to know that
good ideas or no?
if after a reasonable amount of time you do not see your post on the big board, that is your clue that it didn’t quite make it :o) YW Moderator-72
and if other posts especially on the same thread HAVE gotten posted, but yours haven’t, then you know they were deleted.
hi100: we have a thread called post here so we know your in the cr! you can sign in, in that thread!
AOB, not always, when theres a mod off for a while posts go up randomly depending on the way they were approved. Sometimes it helps to check an hour or two later.

oh you know what would be cool? you know how when you go into a person’s account you can see all their recent activities? it would be cool if you could go directly to their last post instead of having to find it on your own. i know that when i’m gone for a few days (or hours) and i want to catch up i have to first find my last post and work from there.
