To be fair, perhaps all these were once rated well and accurate, but I feel they are under appreciated as of NOW.

    In no particular order:

    – mussar

    – mailmen

    – flossing

    – grandparents

    – fruits & vegetables

    – sincerity

    – pencils

    – the great feeling after getting an oil change

    – naps

    – chazara (reviewing something you learned, over and over again)

    – water

    – suspenders

    – rain

    – birchas asher yotzar

    – electric cars

    – Velcro

    – bicycling (as a main form of transportation)

    – learning from the elderly

    – garbage men

    – closing your eyes, and taking in a delicious breath of fresh air

    – The human brain/intellect/imagination/sanity

Heimish food is OVER-rated imho. How about living in a country that doesn’t need bomb shelters?

Haifa is absolutely NOT overrated. For those of us who like to live in a city, this one is the best.

    But speaking of underrated: grammar.

snow is extremely underrated. u just have to know how to use it properly efficiently and wisely – and it is most amazing!!!! i’m talking about skiing, snowboarding, making a snowman or an igloo with the kids, sledding, etc. i make an effort to show my kids how beautiful snow is, and how we should be thankful for it (not dreading it like 90% of the population)

Baalhabooze, until I had a child I did not appreciate it!!! My husband an I used to take short naps on shabbos and take walks, read just hang out. Now if I can nap for 20 mins I’m golden!!! Good call though about over 15 because most of my other examples were going to be kids, high schoolers, people with no jobs.

MorahRach – i know what you mean! You and hubby should take turns napping on shabbos afternoon (that’s what I do, this way my wife and I benefit somewhat, even if it’s a short afternoon)
