According to HaRav Mordechai Aderet shlita, at the time of the Pittsburgh massacre in the Conservative Temple, there was a bris of a child adopted by two toeiva “fathers”. He places fault for this tragedy on this event. This shiur of the Rov shlita is on TorahAnytime.

It is embarrassing when the Jewish left supports toievah movement while the orthodox leadership doesn’t stay vocal against it.

Boruch Hashem for the return of Ruach Hakodesh. I’m glad that someone has such certainty about the ways and purposes of HKBH.

Also, glad someone is making the distinctions between unzer and andere. Somebody should. The murderers sure don’t.

I don’t know about the rest of you. To me the kedoshim were – are – all unzer.

STATEMENT OF AGUDATH ISRAEL OF AMERICA ON MURDER DURING A SHABBOS SERVICE IN A PITTSBURGH SYNAGOGUE

The murder of eleven people during a Shabbos service this morning in a Pittsburgh synagogue is a horrific tragedy and an outrage. Our deepest sympathies go out to the mourning families and friends of the victims who were targeted because they were Jews. We extend our deepest gratitude to the law enforcement personnel who arrived at the scene and captured the murderer. We also thank law enforcement across the country who are ramping up security measures around houses of worship.

`There are simply no words of condemnation that can truly express our anguish and disgust at the perpetrator of this hate-fueled act or others like it. Any platform or group, including those on social media, that serves to stir up and metastasize bigotry and anti-Semitic hatred, needs to be called out and shut down for incitement of violence. Until all Americans confront the horror of anti-Semitism head on, our great Democracy will not have achieved its promise.

May those who were injured in today’s senseless violence have a speedy and complete recovery from their wounds.

Laskern: It’s not a stirah. The vaad is talking about the status of Klal Yisroel in general. Rabbi Aderet is speaking of the avairah that caused the massacre. Edom is going to be punished, jut it happened because of the Yidden sinning.

I have posted the Lakewood Rabonim and the statement of Agudas Israel.
I agree with Yichusdig it is not our job to attribute this to their wrong doing, The people killed were a tinuk shenishbo and died innocently.

Laskern, not many Jews born in America are tinok shenishbah.

ubiquitin: The Conservative conversion the two “fathers” conducted for their adopted baby isn’t a valid conversion, so it doesn’t demonstrate that the Ribono Shel Olam opposes bris milah.
