I am also looking for a sem and came across Tiferes, too.
It is not much of info but as far as I know it is quite small (around 50 students this year) and, of course it depends how you define BY-type, but again, as far as I’ve heard, it is.
I don’t know anything about the shiurim but there is one girl from my town that went there this year and is very happy and enjoying it a lot.
Maybe you could get in touch with the campus (Jerusalem:02 582 366) or the office in NY (845 290 0488)for further details.

November 22, 2011 1:06 am at 1:06 am #833640inspiredteenMemberI have heard that it is like a smaller Hadar. I think the girls that go there are a little quieter (maybe the word is more aidel) and they want a smaller place of 50 and not 150 like Hadar.

December 5, 2011 12:57 am at 12:57 am #833642Leah222Membermore yeshivish and sheltered girls than in hadar.
a good example would be than the girls there are the type to do up their top shirt button.. whilst other places would open 1 or 2 depending on how yeshivish!
