bored Yeshiva guys.
Someone suggested to me that everyone in the CR is really bored yeshiva guys (and perhaps in some cases, BY girls) who are just pretending to have interesting backgrounds and interests and thoughts while they kill time instead of going to seder. Or perhaps bein hasdorim.
I thought about this and concluded that from my limited data set (me) it seems to be 100% true. How about you? Is it true of you? How many people here are really bored yeshiva guys who chose a name and persona like interestingtraveler because they don’t have other things to do?
What, bored yeshiva guys and BY girls aren’t allowed to have legitimately interesting interests and thoughts on their own?
I am a very bored bais yaakov girl. I spend the majority of my time alone and am craving social interaction. On the other hand, when I am not bored, I end up dealing with way to much drama for my age.

I learn Zohar first seder, Mishneh Brura second Seder, Bava Metzia third Seder, Daf Yomi fourth seder, Tanya fifth seder, Nefesh HaChaim sixth seder, and Shabbos seventh seder.
I think that comes to 28 cups of wine.
I’m not bored, I’m practicing work avoidance. Actually, I have practiced it so much I am something of the expert.

How about people working night shifts trying to stay awake.
How about someone doing chesed and sitting by the bedside of someone in the hospital and they want lights out so one cant read,learn,talk on the phone and need some stimulation.
By the way i thought internet was a no-no for yeshiva boys and girls. By the way are we talking about boys looking for full support,a car, house, vacations and a wife to do his laundry and meals?!?!?!?!?….and the girls are they the ones whom the parents had to take second or third mortgages so they can go to seminary in EY and just goof off!?!?!?!?!

Today we are all admiring what a great Yom ha’Atzmaut we celabrated and are eagerly counting down another 20 days to Yom Yersholayim.

“Someone” is mistaken. I may sometimes be bored (though hopefully never boring), but I am well into middle-age. And loving it.

Then in addition to Boston & TX explosion, unprecedented flooding in Chicago, and only 3rd time in 79 years that zoo had to shut.
never never bored.! in fact we do not have enough hours in the day to do all we gotta do.
