The sephardic community B’H has so many speakers, that it is hard to narrow it down. By all the shuls, there are CD’s all over the place, just there for the taking. I also go to learntorah.com and you can hear /download.

I also love to hear Rabbi Krohn, Shilita, he darshot are so captivating. I would list some various women speakers as well, but will refrain.

Seriously I have tried listening to R’ Yissochor Frand, R’ Manis Friedman and R’ Yaaqob Menashe but I’m distracted and can’t concentrate when listening to recordings of anything but music. I think I also listened to R’ Eli Mansour once recently because a friend sponsored that particular recording – same result unfortunately as I don’t remember a thing I heard :(.

Are there good speakers who record in Ivrit/LHK (or French for that matter)? I’d probably be forced to concentrate more if the recordings were not in my native language.

Irrelevant portions DELETED. Please remain on topic. YW Moderator-72

It’s common sense that any type of music which is clearly trying to do nothing more than circumvent a takonas chaza”l is in itself a blatant violation of halacha.

R’ Avigdor Miller Z”L – for firey mussar that’s pashut and delivered with love.

R’ Noach Weinberg _ Z”L – on living the Jewish life with joy. His shiurim/shmoozes from aish.com – reminds me of the things in life that need reminding:) Especially his “48 Ways to Wisdom” series. It coincides with the days of sefira. The chizuk you receive from it should be an aliya for his neshama!

R’ Akiva Tatz – for the ideas behind deep concepts in Judaism & life

R’ Rietti – for insights into life and general

R’ Lawrence Kelemen – anything by him is edge-of-your-seat riveting and fascinating

R’ Moshe Weinberger of Aish Kodesh in Woodmere – contemporary chassidus and mussar

Dr. David Pelcovitz, R’ Shaya Cohen (P1), R’ Pesach Krohn, R’ Ronny Greenwald – on anything related to chinuch(!)

Aryeh Pamensky of happywife.com – on communication & marriage (free downloads of his signature lectures) easy to understand, totally true and funny!

R’ Tzipporah Heller – a down-to-earth and positive perspective on being a Jewish woman in today’s world.

A Rebbetzin who prefers not to be named online – on Rav Dessler and R’ Mordechai Miller
