jewish music that sounds as if they did not even try (which sadly encompasses much of the jewish music scene today).

seeing frum women and girls wearing skirts that are obviously too short and they know it-they are constantly pulling them down. just buy a longer skirt next time!

talking to people on the phone and they are eating at the same time. or drinking and slurping.

When people don’t think before they talk.

When people think they’re always right.

When people think low of others that aren’t like them.

When people try to be funny but are actually being rude.

When Jews don’t know how to properly interact with non-Jews.

People making a fool of themselves speaking in public (usually at simchos).

    x2 – and butchering a pasuk/Chazal in the process.

Goq: bring your lunch for a week, so when you don’t know what’s in the cafeteria for a whole week maybe she’ll stop asking.

Tactless people. I’m not talking about just people who don’t think before they speak (or I’d cringe at myself a lot). I’m talking about people who organize enormous delegations to visit people who just had an operation and DON’T want visitors.

True story which happened to a friend. She was absolutely miserable at being seen in her hospital bed by a whole brigade of friends.

Also, “yes-men” really annoy me. I mean people who, whenever someone says something to them, they will instantly agree. Like one girl I know. She spends ten minutes detailing her personal opinion on something, and as soon as I say my opinion, which is diametrically opposite to hers, she says, “You’re so right!” A really sweet girl, but she’ll say anything.

I also get annoyed at people who don’t proofread.

    Dentists’ drill.

    Doctors’ needles.

Thinking about any of the above.

    Thing I can’t stand:

idiots- who get anxious and blame it on you

anxious people who feel they “have to share” their anxiety

people who complain too much!People who ask personal questions in public are my faves.

    If your coworker is anoying-

he/ she probably feels he is being friendly and chatty-

some people have no idea that they are total idiots…nebach….

say something equally annoying back- …. In the sweetest most syruppy voice say:

“put your money where your mouth is-“

“its so sweet and kind and generous , that you feel for me and the pain I endure dailu when I eat my of substandard lunch- maybe you want to treat me to something you feel actually befits a person of my caliber?”

kucha yaaseh liish asher hamelech chofetz biyikoroh!!!

another thing that makes me cringe-when people who have known me since early elementary school STILL spell my name wrong, even when its spelled correctly in the master list or in the email i just sent them…..

yentingyenta: Thanks for reminding me— I hate the fact that I’ve got one teacher who EVERY SINGLE WEEK (I only have her once a week) sees my full name on the attendance sheet (let’s pretend it’s Chaya Sarah, which it isn’t) and calls me by it, and then asks, “So what do you want to be called?” For Pete’s sake, it’s February already! You should remember that my name is Chayala! (which again, IT’S NOT!!! With no offense meant to the Chayalas of the world. My friend’s name is Chayala and she’s really sweet.)

People who make a phone call and then in the 6 seconds between them dialing and the call being answered choose to start to converse with someone at their end, hello? you are making the call cant you pay attention to what you are doing it is extremely annoying to pick up the phone and have to listen to a conversation before the caller addresses you how obnoxious!!! i answer phones for a living and this happens to me several times a day thanks for letting me rant. Multitasking to save time is not nice when it is stealing time from others.

Although i understand it and do a lot myself, it gets me frustrated when parents bring up their children to just follow blindly, ingraining in them not to question, and not teach them basic things until they’re “grown up”.
