So back during Rosh Hashanah time, I heard what sounded like a shofar in my neighborhood.

Now, sometimes rabbonim come to people, who are unable to make it to shul (such as elderly persons), homes or communities so that they too can hear the shofar.

Do you think it really was a shofar? What else would make a shofar-like noise? Maybe, I simply attributed the sound to coming from a shofar because of Rosh Hashanah? Or, maybe it really was a shofar?

We maynever know for sure… but maybe we can speculate on what happened here… am I the only one who thought that I heard a shofar blowing out the blue?

    Thank you 🙂

All of Elul I hear Shofars in the morning- from nearby shuls. I don’t know whether you are in shofar-hearing distance of your local shuls.
Sometimes at random times, it could be people practicing. Or kids trying to see if they can blow their father’s shofar.
