The Yam Suf was likely where the Suez Canal is today

Has itg wasn’t in the Red Sea, it wasn’t anywheres near the Gulf of Suez or Arabia. The name implies a swamp, not an ocean. If it was important to know exactly, Humash would have included GPS coordinates.

The place where the Suez Canal was sort of swampy before the Canal was built, Besides the obvious geograhic sutability there, it was swampy and made it fairly easy to build a canal there

    HaLeiVi:

    1. Only if it was dry land

    2. Only if the water was above your head (one can easily drown in a swamp)

    3. Only if those chasing you were drowned through no effort of your own

P.S. The idea that they crossed a giant ocean comes from a Christian mistranslation. Jewish sources never claimed they crossed the “Red Sea” (which is quite deep, and there is no reference to them going down and up and incredible slope, nor of any sort of bridge over the chasm popping up).

It was towards the back middle. Near the 7-11.

I’d draw a picture, but theres no way to post it.

According to sefer eleh maasi, they entered (approximately) 29.624656, 32.341608 and exited at 29.829776, 32.476191

I never understood the reasoning behind the claim that they exited on the western side of the Red Sea when it is obvious shortly later that they were on the eastern side.

There is a widely publicized video about this from National geographic. Many dispute the video, however, the Living Torah Museum in Boro Park, maintains that the video is accurate.

how could National Geographic have acurately documented Torah info?

YAM SUF means SEA OF REEDS.

Over the years, translations have gotten messed up. It doesnt mean RED SEA.

According to many historians, this “yam” has since dried up.
