Nowadays (trump presidency) Ywn’s articles mostly bash him (ap) when Obama was president ywn’s articles were mostly anti Obama too (Fox News).
So in essence what do you think the editor is, democrat or republican?

I have noticed – on YWN and elsewhere – that many Associated Press stories lean anti-Trump, and others, sometimes covering the same event, lean pro-Trump. AP sells its content to a broad range of markets, and I guess it is helpful to AP to have products that appeal to all its customers, some who lean left, others who lean right.

As for YWN, I have no doubt the editor(s) lean pro-Trump, but not brazenly so. I have not doubt, also, that Trump is not good for the Jews. When the white nationalists he encourages run out of immigrants and brown folks to bash, they will turn to their favorite and long-standing target, the Jews. An American embassy in Jerusalem won’t help Jews in Boro Park.

Neither. I think they do a pretty good job of staying in the center, because I see people complaining they are too liberal and I also see people complaining they are too conservative. This leads me to think they are doing a good job of staying in the center. I see comments with different opinions, and articles with different biases.

You could argue he’s a RINO, or neo-con like Ben Shapiro and just hates anyone who isn’t like Bush and his ilk.

I would argue that YWN leans Conservative and is, in fact, pro-Trump. However, they happen to pull a lot of stories from the AP, which has become extremely, shamelessly biased. A lot of sites seem to pull stories from the AP; I imagine its a cheaper license than pulling from Fox or some such thing.

YWN seems to rely on them for their parve news that doesn’t require any YWN-editorializing. However, since Trump has become President, the liberal media works in bashes on him in any and all articles, regardless of the relevance. When YWN writes its own pieces, they seem conservative. This is in contrast to Hamodia, which seems to be legitimately liberally-biased.

They seem to follow the ways of the mainstream media by publishing provocative articles that entice people to click on them.

Wich means just means that they are more centrist as far as there readership is concerned. But being centrist among the yeshiva is very much to the right of the general populace.

Considering the hakaros hatov Yidden should give President Donald Trump, it is a shanda they don’t share that Jewish pulse in their articles.

Who cares? How they vote is their business, they report the news. That’s their job. But one thing is clear: YWN, like everyone, despises the Gang of Four.

They lean against whoever is in power. Are they anarchists?

It’s absolutely the readers’ business whether or not they’re being fed biased coverage. What kind of nonsense state is that?

Oy Neville, you are still an appeaser… this time of the JEWISH haters. You make it so easy. Get a grip.

I can’t believe that anyone thinks YWN is anything other than rabidly pro-Trump. Don’t judge by the articles (most of which come from news services). Judge by headlines.

    Nice one, Apushatayid! That’s funny!

Neville, you obviously aren’t one of my faithful fans. I’m crushed. I’m a SHE, not a HE. And clearly, you don’t get the significance of your own nom de plume in relation to my comment. In case you don’t know what that is, I went to Merriam-Webster: “nom de plume definition is – a name that a writer uses instead of his or her real name : pseudonym, pen name. ”

Anyway, I’m bored with our banter so I think I’ll call it a day. All the best!

OK, so you were referencing the fact that Neville Chamberlain tried to appease Hitler? Did it have any significance to this thread?

Was your first comment a joke also? I don’t really follow.

YWN, a supposedly religious site, is a CNN / AP / MSNBC and other fake news media advocate, which means very anti-Trump without rhyme or reason. As if they’d have preferred Hillary the Witch. Which is precisely why so many left this site the last few years.
