BaalHabooze – Lakewood is NOT internet free – there are loopholes (eg “for business”). That said, most of the people there do not have it. Yes, I know a few personally who never had/got rid of it.
Well there’s wifi everywhere and soon every phone will have wifi capabilities so technically everyone will have it soon. So we should probably start fighting it from the inside and not from the outside.(think before you reply)
My Brothers and Sisters in Lakewood do not have internet. Or Blackberry’s. One doesn’t even have a radio in his home. If he wants to hear the news or weather, he goes into his car. Truth be told, you can see the Kedusha of those homes without internet as opposed to those with internet. Yes I know, I have internet!

In our family , we are the only ones that have internet access B”H and when the kids come, the computer is out of sight!
There are B”H many good people out there who have no computer and do not yearn for one. Voil iz far zehi alleh!
Ms. Critique – I would be careful. There are numerous girls in my grade whose parents don’t know that they know what internet is, let alone use it. Some of these girls use it at night or when their parents aren’t home.
Most kids (for sure teenagers) know when there is a computer in the house and know how to get on to it and use it.
