Does anyone know of any recording of Mona Rosenblum’s Ribono Shel Olam prior to (King) M.B.D.’s performance of it at H.A.S.C. 2? Maybe an official studio recording?

Yes, it was on an Israeli record from the late 70’s called “Mitzad Hazemirot”, and the song was sung by Dudu Fisher with his brother.

Who recorded Ribono Shel Olam? I think that was Moshe Rabeinu, in the Torah. Word for word. בכל ביתו נאמן הוא

LittleFroggie – Moshe Rabbeinu didn’t Record the RBSO. He transcribed his words. But I had the same thought when I saw the tile.

Seriously though, if the OP still needs the answer, my son will have it. He is a ‘musicologist’, studying the origins of old Jewish music, especially anything originally released on Record.

Shwekey was about 6 years old when MBD recorded that on HASC II.

Maybe Shwekey recorded it when he was 5
