Having the middah of bushah should be a source of pride and not a sign of immaturity.
September 6, 2011 8:31 pm at 8:31 pm #806173PosterMemberYou only blush before you get married, while opposite genders are a novelty.
September 6, 2011 8:32 pm at 8:32 pm #806174mikehall12382MemberFirstly, blushing is an involuntary reaction, you have no control over it much like reflexes, blinking, or sneezing or the hiccups…
On top of that the first time boys and girls interact is on a shidduch date…how can they not blush from nervousness….
So NO, it is absolutly not Immature to do so….
September 6, 2011 8:38 pm at 8:38 pm #806175skiaddictMembermyrabbi once told me that the reason Hashem made it that opposite genders will blush one reason is that they will b embarrassed to do stupid things because they will end up blushing- i know that doesnt always work but he said that its a gift from Hashem when you are like that because it stops you from flirting etc
September 6, 2011 8:46 pm at 8:46 pm #806176rebaParticipantOh, the gift of blushing – it is so embarrassing – mostly because everyone finds a need to comment and tell you you look cute. Thank the l-rd I grew out of that – age toughens you up. Now instead of blushing I just get defensive.
