We have better technology.
I have seen mayo in jars, packets, and squeezable containers. User demand determines which the company chooses to utilize. One should note that jars are the least expensive.
While major brands have gone to plastic, heimishe brands still use jars.
I’ve seen and photographed a squirrel eating mayonnaise from a packet!
Maybe it was a squeeze pouch? Like one of those single serve packets that come with Starkist tuna lunch kits.
In some places, mayonnaise comes in tubes, like toothpaste. Lowerourtuition, the plastic containers that non-squeezable Hellmann’s comes in are jars.

Ya jars are pretty lame, I think their should be a mayonnaise machine section in every store where you just put your hands under and bring it back home or eat it right away
