    Does anyone know a yeshiva for serious no shtick sincere guys older/kollel age doing 2/3 sedarim in America small place close kesher w rebbeim non frumspeak style very into learning, halacha and mussar?

    Meaning part of like the no shtick type. That you don’t need to talk w a certain accent and use certain types of words to be a frum jew. Obviously, nobody really feels that way, but I’d fit better w a crowd that doesn’t have its own preset style of speech. And I don’t speak poshut a single word of yiddish.

    Above quote sounds like yeshiva-speak to me.

    Try Ohr HaChaim in Kew Gardens Hills. It is connected with Touro. The rebbeim are yeshivish and very with it. Rav Eliyahu Soloveichik is a Rosh Yeshiva there and is tremendous. Chicago lost him when Brisk Yeshiva closed.

    how about rav lettermans yeshivah on coney? don’t know much about it but supposed to be good.
