WE CAN’T BRING MOSHIACH, it is not within our ability. Every day we WAIT for moshiach, every day we do not BRING moshiachuhhh no. in the olden days when people came in contact with a virus it was not a controlled amount, therefore their immune system couldn’t stand up to it…

Just trying to clarify to you what others have said previously, very clearly:
You seem to imply that we do Hashem’s ratzon in order to bring about Moshiach. However it is not so. Hashem will bring Moshiach when He sees fit. Our tachlis is to do ratzon Hashem, no shaychus to Moshiach. Even if we knew a certain act would bring moshiach, but it contravened halacha, it would be ossur to do it. out tachlis in this world is not to bring moshiach.

I know you will nitpick and find something in my answer which is not good enough for you but that is okay. You are free to live your life as you please ultimately, my opinion notwithstanding. If you want to listen to whatever music you want go ahead but though you will deny it the music you listen to will have an effect on you.

Music has a serious effect on ones neshama (for good or bad) and contains in it part of the neshama/soul/intentions of the composer, (and this stuff doesn’t just disappear when you put Hebrew words to it).
As a side point i once heard a story about a lady who underwent brain surgery and when they hit on a certain point she began to sing this complicated opera that they found out after (when they questioned her) she had only listened to it once in her life when she was a young girl and had hated it but it was still there somewhere deep in her memory.
I don’t think anyone will dispute the effect music has on a person.

my two cents (or less):
Aside from the halachik issue bear in mind that often printing a picture of a woman with an article can detract from the message. It becomes more about what she is wearing, her makeup and jewelery, how many wrinkles she has etc. Women are very judged by society based on their appearance (less so for men) so you could have a whole article about the amazing things a woman has done and ppl can totally miss the point because they are too busy analyzing her appearance in that picture where she is watering the flowers.

I would like to add another thought into the mix. This might sound very controversial but what about a person not just getting a college degree to get a good job (though that is the main aim) but also for personal fulfillment. (I am talking about women as well)

I do not condone the public bashing of anyone. However freedom of speech still exists unless you say something untrue (which may have been the case in the first post on this thread).

Secondly: Considering you think yourself worthy of a well thought out reply in response to your ranting I will do my best.
Admittedly there have been flawed studies but by 2015 the evidence against vaccination has been discredited by non-flawed studies.
As well research in the field of immunology is always happening. People are discovering new ways to do things all the time and if a company holds onto a semi-effective vaccine instead of funding research to improve it they will be left way behind.
The flu vaccine is a very individual case and should not inform your decisions about other vaccines.
Vaccines have dramatically changed the statistics of world mortality in the past 100+ years (antibiotics have helped as well). If you took the time to read the studies and scholarly articles and look at the statistics you might have a very different view.
In short: there are issues with one or two of the vaccines on the market today however you should not allow this to inform your perception of vaccinations in general. Keep yourself informed and try not to be so fearful of the government.
I think only once one has made at least a preliminary study of immunology are they permitted to post on such threads. Veltz’s ignorant borderline phobic rant is testament to this.

If you don’t like someone it is reasonable to assume you do not hold them in high esteem. It is therefore quite difficult to respect them.

I read the rules it seems as though the NYC Department of Sanitation is trying to make it as hard as possible for anyone to ever recycle anything. There are so many good models for encouraging recycling worldwide why cant they just adopt one of them?
Would that really be so bad?
It would be really nice when ppl say things like “vaccines cause death” and the like that they would back it up with evidence. If/when you can do this I am sure many ppl would be glad to enter into a discussion about it with you.
Off topic but when I saw this thread all I thought of was the Marvelous Midos Machine (I think!) song about nekamah “don’t pay back a bad deed with a bad deed of your own…”
