Yeshiva Toras Chaim Toras Emes In North Miami Beach Temporarily Evacuated Due To Bomb Threat

Yeshiva Toras Chaim Toras Emes in North Miami Beach was temporarily evacuated on Sunday following an anonymous bomb threat.

At around 6:30PM, police and emergency personnel evacuated the Klurman Campus of Yeshiva Toras Chaim Toras Emes on Miami Gardens Drive after an email was received stating that multiple bombs had been planted inside the Yeshiva. The email requested that $25,000 be wired by May 31st via Western Union to a particular address.

It warned the school not to call police.

Police swept the building, and after about an hour, determined that the building was safe and the students and faculty were allowed to enter the building.

A copy of the threatening letter received is attached.
