Anti-Semite Rep. Ilhan Omar Accuses House Republicans of Avenging “Their Master” Donald Trump

Anti-Semite Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., spoke out against the ongoing efforts by House Republicans to remove her from the Foreign Affairs Committee. She appeared on the MSNBC show “The ReidOut” where the host, Joy Reid, complimented Omar for her calm demeanor in the face of the situation.

Omar referred to the efforts as a “vengeance tour” for Donald Trump and stated that the Republicans were clear in their intentions during the recent debate in the Rules Committee. She pointed out that the removal of Rep. Paul Gosar and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene from their committees in the previous cycle was due to their threats of violence against members of Congress and had nothing to do with their work on the committees.

Omar added that the Republicans were now denying Eric Swalwell and Adam Schiff their committees as a form of retaliation for their leading roles in the impeachment of Trump. She went on to say that she had been a target of the Republicans from the beginning.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy announced that the House will vote on Thursday to remove Omar from the Foreign Affairs Committee after securing enough votes. Omar continued to speak out against the Republicans and called their actions an attack on her First Amendment rights to criticize U.S. policies. She stated that the Republicans don’t believe that Muslims, refugees, or immigrants in the country have the right to criticize U.S. policy and that it is against the principles of freedom to debate and engage in dissent.

Omar also addressed the criticism she has received for her repeated attacks against Israel and her comparison of the terrorist groups Hamas and the Taliban to Israel and the U.S. She emphasized that the purpose of the Foreign Affairs Committee is to offer oversight and criticism. She added that the requirement for members of Congress to be objective decision makers is absurd and that their perspectives and the perspectives of their constituents should be taken into account when making decisions.

Omar concluded by pointing out the absurdity of having someone like Marjorie Taylor Greene on the Homeland Security Committee, given her belief that 9/11 was an inside job and her stance against Muslims.
