The attached image and information was submitted to YWN.
“A friend of mine received a delivery notice from the “Canada Post” (mail). Instead of the recipient name being filled out, the Canada Post employee wrote “JEW”. Attached is the picture of the notice.
A police report and complaint with Canada Post was filed.
Canada Post reached out to YWN with the following:
“This was an unfortunate misunderstanding. It’s the recipient’s name “Jen” written on the card. The carrier should have written the full name & feels terrible for the misunderstanding. We take these matters seriously & investigated immediately.”

It was prob just a “note” that they probably won’t accept or sign.
Not EVERYTHING is antiemetic.

The person that did it obviously is an anti-Semite, however, I would be very proud to receive such a receipt. I would frame it, hang it up and I would feel that Hashem is giving me a kiss because really the
greatest title you can give someone is Jew. I have a friend that when he has to fill out a government form and he is asked what race he is and he is given a bunch of choices he checks the box other and writes Jew.
Is it possible that the author didn’t write, ‘Jew’, but rather, ‘Jeu’, a common French abbreviation for ‘Jeudi’, Thursday to us English speakers? November 1st was a Thursday. While it’s really quite true that the Qeubecois pur laines hold themselves in ridiculously high esteem I just can’t see what there would be to gain by writing ‘Jew’ instead of the person’s name. Sometimes Canada Post will leave the name off of the ticket to make it easier for anyone in the household to come and collect the mail. Just a thought.
Since this is in province of Quebec, and the mailman wrote “Jew” instead of “Juif” we can assume that he shall try and wriggle out of trouble; Notwithstanding that Canada Post, is a Federal entity, where both English & French are supposed to wield the same rights and obligations.

How do you know this was Saturday? Looks to me from the image that the date was 01 November (Saturday was 10, not 01)
