Drunk Motorcycle Rider Arrested in Flatbush After Crashing His Bike on Coney & Ave L [VIDEO & PHOTOS]

A highly intoxicated man driving a motorcycle was taken into custody in the Midwood section of Brooklyn late Saturday night – thanks to member of Flatbush & Boro Park Shomrim.

It happened at around 11:30PM on Coney Island Avenue near Avenue L, when the man fell off his motorcycle. Bystanders called Flatbush Hatzolah, while a Boro Park Shomrim member who happened to be in the area quickly took the man’s keys from the motorcycle before he could drive off – possibly hurting himself and others.

Multiple volunteers from Flatbush Shomrim were dispatched to the scene to assist, as the drunk man violently tried attacking bystanders as he looked for his keys which had been taken away from him. The man even tried gaining access to Yeshiva Chaim Berlin, but was scared off by their security guard.

Eventually, the man was so drunk that he stumbled to the ground, where he was restrained until the NYPD arrived.

The man was arrested and taken to a local hospital by EMS.
