Police Investigating ANOTHER Suspicious Fire at Rabbi’s Home Near Boston [VIDEOS]

Authorities in a Boston suburb are investigating a second suspicious fire at a rabbi’s home in less than a week.

Acting Arlington Police Chief Julie Flaherty said officers and firefighters responded to the home at about 9 p.m. Thursday and doused a small fire on the home’s exterior wood shingles with a hand-held extinguisher.

Firefighters also put out a fire at Rabbi Avi Burkiet’s home this past Saturday night.

Flaherty has placed a full-time detail at the home where the rabbi lives with his wife and children and holds religious education classes.

Police say there was also a suspicious fire Thursday night at Chabad Rabbi Mendy Krinsky’s home in Needham. The towns are about 10 miles apart.

Arlington Police released video from a neighbor’s home that appears to show someone walking away from the rabbi’s home at the approximate time of the Saturday night fire.

The fire was deemed suspicious. Police are investigating if the home was targeted, as it doubles as the Chabad Center for Jewish Life in Arlington, a well-known place in the community for religious services and education.
