Something’s not right with our bussing system as too many children are being killed. Accidents happen and this may have been an a true accident. But I’m out on the road alot and see how our drivers drive. There’s plenty of room for improvement, including slowing down and not using hand held devices.
My heartfelt condolences to the family of Blima Weber A”H bat Etty Weber. How sad and tragic that death has struck this family during The Three Weeks. If it is of any consolation to the Beloved of Blima Weber A”H, I am praying that the Weber Mishpacha will know that they must endeavor at some future point in time, that is, to name a Girls’ Yeshiva in her honor and that all their schoolbusses will have her name on them. Not now of course. It is too soon and grieving must take place. May you be comforted amongst all the mourners of Tzion. With Torah Love and consolation of H”M with H-s arms supporting you every step of this journey. Blima will be in Gan Eden and up with The Schechina in H-s Divine and Holy Love. She will be watching over you at H-s Command.
The older portion of Blauvelt closer to W. Maple has the houses set back from the road. The newer portion has the houses which are multiple apartments set much closer to the road and children can unfortunately step into the street without realizing it, R”L. Don’t rush to blame the drivers right away. Accidents happen.
