A 64-year-old Jewish man was seriously injured Tuesday morning in what authorities are investigating as a anti-Semitic hate crime at the intersection of Kings Highway and Ocean Avenue in Flatbush.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:00 a.m. Sources tell YWN that the victim was crossing the street when the suspect intentionally bumped his shoulder into him. The victim then turned around and told the suspect, “Watch where you’re walking.”
The suspect had already walked away but then turned back, approached the victim, and viciously shoved him to the ground. During the assault, the suspect yelled, “This is what Jews deserve.”
Sources tell YWN the victim suffered a fractured hip and is believed to have also sustained a possible concussion. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The NYPD’s 61st Precinct, the NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force, and Flatbush Shomrim responded and are actively investigating the incident.

I counted AT LEAST 4 people (ostensibly human beings) turning around seeing what is happening and simply continuing on their merry way. Scary. But idk if this is entirely Anti-Semitism on THEIR part, there is a sick lack of empathy in NYC where people have collapsed on the ground and people simply continue walking, never bothering to stop. Now G-D forbid if a cat was hurt or someone dares do Kapparos, then the world comes to an end! Crazy upside down world. So why should some rabid Anti-Semite not assault a visible Jew? With the Mayor an open Anti-Semite as well, what will happen already??
Right… just stare and walk on as though nothing happened? How ill a nation are we that we are afraid/scared to stand up against hate? Why are we giving haters and terrorists a platform to carry out their evil? Guaranteed that if it happened to one of these passers by they would want someone to act on their behalf and wipe away their attackers. How sick people are today… thrive in looking at someone else being hurt unnecessarily.
