Hundreds of young members of Tehran’s Jewish community gathered for a special pre-Rosh Hashanah shiur delivered by Iran’s chief rabbi, Rabbi Yehuda Gerami.

During the gathering, Rabbi Gerami addressed a range of timely issues affecting Iran’s Jewish community and provided participants with an opportunity to ask questions about matters concerning them.

The large gathering offered a rare glimpse into Jewish communal life in Iran as local Yidden prepare for the Yom Tov of Rosh Hashanah.
