Paris: Jewish Man Violently Attacked With Iron Pipe

hate crimes4.jpgAccording to the European Jewish Press, a 23-year-old Jewish man has been violently attacked in what appears to be an anti-Semitic aggression. The man, identified as Yosef, was on his way to Shul with his brother-in-law and his 3 year-old-son, when the three passed a pedestrian crossing, a man in a car began to honk his horn at them and flash his headlights.

The man started to scream at them, then got out of the car and started beating Yosef first with the hands and later with an iron bar he found nearby. The Jewish man was wounded at the head and had his arm broken.

People who witnessed the scene intervened and threatened to call police before the aggressor escaped. The witnesses could notice the car’s plate number which led police to arrest Nizar O., an electrician of North-African origin in his thirties.

The man, who was put in custody, has been charged for “violence against a person because of his religion.” He risks 5 years in prison and a 75,000 euros fine.

  1. Rebono Shel Olam, isn’t this the 2nd time in a week this happened in Paris? Someone is firing them up in the mosques – after all it’s Friday isn’t it? Until the French go after the imams YS”V who preach violence I’m afraid this will not stop.
