The Ma’aman Allah Cemetery in Yerushalayim, near Independence Park, was targeted by vandals. At least 15 tombstones were damaged as a large tree was set ablaze in the area of the graves.

A number of persons who report being affiliated with the al-Aqsa organization, with affiliations to the Islamic Association, discovered the damage during a routine visit to the cemetery. Police are investigating. (Published on 1st Day Chol Hamoed in Eretz Yisrael)
