Levi Aron Lawyers Say Confession Coerced

NBC New York reports the following:

Defense attorneys for Levi Aron charged with abducting and killing 8-year-old Leiby Kletzky, whom he met on the street, say his confession was coerced and that they plan to prove he is not guilty by reason of insanity.

At a hearing Monday, they said authorities told Levi Aron what to write down. They say he is not sane enough to be aware of his actions.

Aron has pleaded not guilty in the death of Leiby Kletzky.

Attorney Howard Greenberg says they intend to prove their client is not guilty by reason of insanity. It is the first time the defense has disclosed its strategy.

  1. What a bunch of technocrats. Legally, he did it and should be found guilty because of the evidence. Whether they supposedly “coerced” him to write that down is something else. Either way he stands to be locked up to rot be it in Rikers Island or Bellvue.

  2. #4, thats equal to him being set free. he wont have to endure any pain and suffering in a mental assylum. If he were thrown into some maximum security prison for the rest of his life, he would go through hell

Is your name really as you believe or does it just sound good and make you look really frum. Do you really believe that the “AinOhdMilvado” believes in street justice ? I don’t recall seeing that in the torah anywhere as a matter of fact that would make you the same cold blooded murderer that levi aron is !
