Levi Aron Back in Court Today

The Brooklyn man accused of murdering Leiby Kletzky Z”L this summer was back in court this morning.

Levi Aron appeared in Brooklyn Criminal Court via web conference from Riker’s Island. His lawyers and prosecutors were also in attendance for pre-trial motions and to reschedule a new court date.

Aron allegedly killed 8-year-old Leiby Kletzky after kidnapping him on his way home from school.

NYS Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D-48th District) says he cannot wait for justice to be served, even though the family may never feel at peace.

Aron is due back in court May 25.

  1. Why does Hikind feel the need to publicly say what everyone sadly has been thinking. As demented and sick as Aron is- he’s still a Jew, and as such we shouldn’t feel proud that we’ve now lost 2 yiddisha neshamos. We all know that NY doesn’t use the death penalty, so what real justice is he looking for? Remember Martin Grossman? We davened and we pleaded that they stay his execution. Let’s not make believe, that Aron is any less deserving of our tefilos. G-d doesn’t need us to tell him how to administer din.

  2. A teleconference from inside the prison doesn’t really qualify as “back in court.”

    He’s probably just insane.

  3. “Let’s not make believe, that Aron is any less deserving of our tefilos. G-d doesn’t need us to tell him how to administer din.”

Listen to your own contradiction. L.A. does not deserve any tefilos other than Hashem should give him what he deserves! And for the record, many of us felt Martin Grossman got exactly the justice he deserved too.

  4. I agree with number 1? Although this man should be thrown into jail to give the family a little comfort, he still is a jew and we should probably daven for him. I don’t know what the halacha is with regard to whether you’re suppossed to daven for such a person, but it would seem to me that we should daven for him.

  5. By chulent dude
