PHOTOS: Hachnasas Sefer Torah In Memory Of Fallen Border Policewoman

(PHOTOS IN EXTENDED ARTICLE)

There was a hachnasas Sefer Torah in the border police base in Yad Mordechai in which a Torah was dedicated in memory of border policewoman Hadas Malka HY”D. Malka fell in the line of duty while firing at terrorist during a recent multi-pronged attack by three terrorists at Shar Shechem.

The Sefer Torah was originally intended for the navy base in Ashdod, the base where Malka began her military service. However, it was finally decided to bring it to the border police base in Yad Mordechai.

Among those participating in the event were Israel Police Chief Rav Rabbi Rami Barchiyahu, the commander of the Border Police Southern Command, rabbonim from the border police, family members of Malka as well as the philanthropist from America who donated the Sefer Torah.

  1. Another reason for the French Jews to come.
Pay no attention to the satmar rebbe behind the curtain…the truth has spoken!

  2. I have many serious issues with the Israeli regime and its security system. Nevertheless, I do respect those who have dedicated and at times lost their lives in defense of the Jewish people. This event illustrates as well how much Israel has changed and the direction we are going. Twenty years ago they would have dedicated a swing pool or sports center in her memory if the establishment would have noticed at all.
