A Jerusalem police spokesman announced an arrest was made in the Lag B’Omer burning in effigy of IDF soldiers. A number of arrests were made in May and there was an outstanding warrant for another person connected to the act.
A Jerusalem resident appear in a police station on Sunday in response to the warrant. He was questioned in the Tzion Station. He was arraigned on Monday morning.

These useless and foolish burnings have been going on for at least 69 years and guess what, they have not harmed the IDF one iota. I can only imagine who will be rooting for a conviction on such a massive national security breach. After all, anytime it’s Chareidim vs. the state, we instinctively, automatically know who’s the guilty party. Why not just hand the guy a 10 year prison sentence without bothering with a judge and a trial? Ultimately, “the Chareidim are our misfortune….!” (at least most of them)
