MTA Agrees To Cease Work Before Sunday Following Yom Kippur

NYS Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D-Brooklyn) praised the MTA for agreeing to his request to cease planned repair work along New Utrecht Ave. between 46th and 49th Streets before this Sunday.

“The no parking signs that were recently placed along New Utrecht will be removed after this Saturday, Hikind said. “I explained to the MTA, which needs to do repair work on weekends, that this Sunday is an important shopping day for our community and they complied. I want to thank Andy Inglesby, Assistant Director of Government and Community Relations at the MTA NYC Transit. Wishing everyone in our community an easy and meaningful fast.”
