Watch: Coronavirus Patient Flees From Hospital, Israel Police Nab Him On Train

A patient suspected of being infected with the coronavirus fled from the emergency room of a Hadera hospital and boarded a southbound train.

Medical staff at the hospital summoned the police who halted the train at the Beer Sheva station, where it stood for over an hour before police in protective clothing arrived.

The police searched the train, located the man and brought him to Soroka Medical Center for further testing.

The police also recorded the personal information of all the passengers on the train in order to contact them if the suspect tested positive for the virus.

On Monday afternoon, police had to be summoned to subdue a coronavirus patient hospitalized in the Wolfson Medical Center in Tel Aviv who violated his isolation on Monday and became violent and verbally abusive after being hospitalized for four days.
